Sandia Georgia Tech Seminar Series: Introducing Georgia Tech's New Space Research Institute with Jud Ready
Primary tabs
W. Jud Ready will discuss the vision and goals of Georgia Institute of Technology’s new Space Research Institute and its role in advancing interdisciplinary space research.
Georgia Tech has launched the interdisciplinary Space Research Institute (SRI) with Jud Ready as its inaugural executive director. SRI aims to create a resilient ecosystem for space research by uniting experts from engineering, planetary science, astrophysics, robotics, policy, the arts, and origin-of-life studies. In an era of fiscal uncertainty, SRI will enhance faculty competitiveness, attract new collaborators, and pursue alternative funding through philanthropic and industry partnerships. Leveraging GT's world-class facilities and expertise, SRI seeks to amplify existing space activities and expand their impact in the coming decades.
