Regional Roundtable: Securing the Battery and Critical Material Supply Chain in Georgia

The Georgia Tech Strategic Energy Institute is pleased to invite you to a regional roundtable event on Securing the Battery and Critical Material Supply Chain in Georgia. The event is cohosted with The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions.
The roundtable will bring together leaders from business, government, nonprofit, academia, and communities to discuss how the Southeast can take advantage of the economic opportunity provided by the battery and critical materials supply chain, and to develop collaborative next steps to accelerate investment in the state and region. Topics of discussion for the roundtable include:
- Bridging gaps from pilot to commercialization of innovative technologies
- Economic development strategies to attract the battery supply chain
- Opportunities to develop critical minerals extraction & refining capacity
- Workforce development for the battery and critical materials supply chain
- Supply chain clustering and logistics improvements
The second half of the day will be devoted to a policy workshop to foster innovative state and federal solutions to support continued investment, entrepreneurship, and community development in the battery and critical materials space.
