The George H. and Fay C. Sparks Forum on Ethics and Engineering presents Rendezvous or Collision: "When Engineering Meets Policy," featuring Rebecca Cutri-Kohart, senior counsel at SpaceX. 

Drawing on her career in the space program, Cutri-Kohart will show how engineers can shape policies that work with — not against — technical realities. Unlike the fixed laws of physics, policy can change and evolve. Through real-world examples, she will introduce the legal principles and policy levers available to engineers, highlighting how they can help achieve outcomes that are both technically sound and publicly beneficial.
