The saying goes that infinite accumulation is incompatible with a finite world. Capitalism is incompatible with ecological sustainability as it necessitates continuous expansions of markets to maintain profit rates, turning people and entire ecosystems into expendable forces of production. As long as nature is profitable to destroy, corporations will continue to destroy until there is nothing left to be exploited. Capitalism is leading us towards climate crisis, and the only way out is through an ecosocialist future!
