In this two-hour workshop, Leah Carmichael, director of active learning at the University of Georgia, will share UGA’s innovative Active Learning Initiative and demonstrate how it connects classroom practices to global competencies.

Faculty will explore how active learning can:

  • Prepare students for complex, real-world challenges through inclusive and applied learning.
  • Align with Georgia Tech’s educational mission and strategic priorities.
