How to Book Air Travel at Georgia Tech

In light of recent updates to Georgia Tech’s travel policies, the Institute recognizes the impact these changes may have on how employees plan and manage official travel. To support a smooth transition, the updated requirements for booking air travel are outlined below. 

All official air travel at Georgia Tech must be booked through Travel Inc., either online via Concur or by contacting Travel Inc. directly. This is now mandatory for all airfare bookings, regardless of funding source, to ensure compliance with two recent travel policy updates

 For first-time Concur users, employees must complete theConcur Travel Access and Recurring Direct Bill Form to be granted access. This form has two sections — one to request access to Concur, and another to request recurring Direct Bill. Fill out only the section that applies to you.  

Once access is granted, employees can log into Concur through TechWorks to book flights (using Direct Bill or a personal credit card), as well as hotels and rental cars (using their personal credit card). Direct Bill is currently only available for airfare.  

Travel Inc. can also be reached by phone at 770.291.5190, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., or 1.877.548.2996 after hours. Email requests for individual trips should go to travel.requests@travelinc.com, and group travel (10 or more individuals traveling to the same destination) to gtpcorporate@travelinc.com
