ISyE Welcomes 7 New Advisory Board Members for 2025

Georgia Tech’s H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) welcomes seven new members to its Advisory Board, whose terms will begin on July 1, 2025. The newest board members include Sheereen Brown, Joe Depa, Jason Dorris, Carson Earnest, Matlock Rogers, Kofi Smith, and student member Sujan Ganesh Kumar.  

These seven, along with 23 other distinguished professional and community leaders, will provide strategic guidance to the school chair and support the school’s development and advancement efforts.  

Sheereen Brown (IE 2013) | Senior Business Analyst, The Task Force for Global Health 
Sheereen Brown is a senior business analyst at the Task Force for Global Health, where she works at the intersection of health and tech. She also serves as Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Between, a platform that improves pregnancy and early parenting by birth workers and families. A proud double jacket (IE ‘13, MSHS ‘14),  she currently serves as a member of Georgia Tech's College of Engineering Advisory Board.   
 
What excites you about serving on the Advisory Board? “With rapid advancement of artificial intelligence dramatically changing higher education, I'm excited to be part of a group that helps guide the number #1 ISyE program in the country through this era of transformation.” 

Joe Depa (IE 2005) | Global Chief Innovation Officer, EY  
Joe Depa is the Global Chief Innovation Officer at EY, where he leads the firm’s AI, data, and innovation strategy. He oversees EY.ai and the global data office, integrating AI-ready data and emerging technologies across EY’s global operations and client services. A recognized voice in tech disruption, Joe champions applied innovation to drive value and impact. Prior to EY, he served as Global Lead for Data & AI at Accenture and was Chief Data and AI Officer at Emory University and Emory Healthcare. Named among the World Summit AI Top 50 Leaders and #1 on Technori’s “Top 10 Innovation Leaders to Follow,” Joe is a purpose-driven leader focused on societal impact.  

How do you want to contribute to the Advisory Board? “I look forward to collaborating with our great Georgia Tech faculty to shape the future with technology for our amazing students that will help make the world a better place.” 

Jason Dorris (IE 1994) | Chief Executive Officer, Dorris and Associates International, LLC 
Jason Dorris is the CEO and owner of Dorris and Associates International, LLC. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business. He has extensive experience in business consulting and investment banking with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Bain & Company, and Merrill Lynch & Co. He has advised clients on a wide range of business performance concerns—from high-level strategy development to resolving large-scale financial issues to whole-company operational improvement initiatives.   

What does joining the Advisory Board mean to you? “Joining the ISyE Advisory Board is a meaningful opportunity for me to give back to an institution that has significantly shaped my life. Georgia Tech instilled in me the values of resilience, adaptability, and hard work—principles that have guided my personal and professional journey.” 

Carson Earnest (IE 2021) | Analytics Specialist, Operations, Analytics and Performance, Delta Air Lines 
Carson Earnest is an Analytics Specialist at Delta Air Lines, and a proud 2021 graduate of Georgia Tech. During his time at Tech, he was actively involved with the Alumni Association’s student programs, including serving as a Student Ambassador. He now continues his engagement as a member of the Association’s GOLD Council, representing young alumni.  

What does joining the Advisory Board mean to you? “I believe that ISyE is at a crucial point in being able to adapt to the growing demand brought on by AI and other developments, and being a part of shaping the future of ISyE is a tremendous honor. ISyE is a very special program, and I want to do my part that it continues to be so for generations of Jackets to come.” 

Matlock Rogers (IE 2011) | Vice President Logistics, Labatt Breweries of Canada 
Matlock Rogers is vice president of logistics for Labatt Breweries of Canada, part of AB InBev, where he leads supply chain planning, transportation, warehousing, and last mile distribution. He has managed operations across North America, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and talent development, building resilient, cost-effective, and agile supply chain networks.  

How do you want to contribute to the Advisory Board? “Tech prepared me for an exciting and rewarding journey through the beer and beverage business, having the tools and problem-solving skills to navigate effectively. As technology and supply chain capabilities advance rapidly, new professionals need new experiences to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges in industry. Working with the advisory board, I can help shape those new experiences and prepare future talent for success.” 

Kofi Smith (IE 1999) | Chief Visionary Officer, Keystone Management, LLC 
Kofi Smith is the Chief Visionary Officer of Keystone Management, a fast-growing, fully integrated facility, construction, program, and property management firm. Since founding Keystone in 2020, he has led its expansion from a two-person operation to nearly 90 employees across five cities and states. In 2024, the company was named a Pacesetter and ranked #31 among Atlanta’s 100 Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. In addition to his executive leadership, he is a dedicated educator, teaching courses in leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship in the School of Building Construction at Georgia Tech, where he also formerly taught in the Professional Master’s Occupational Safety and Health Program. 

What are some memorable moments from your time as a student at Georgia Tech?  "My most memorable time at Georgia Tech is when we played Wake Forest in football in 1998.  It was our last home game at Bobby Dodd Stadium, and it was also Senior Day for our team.  My mom and dad were there to watch the game along with my unofficially adopted little 5-year son (you had to be 21 years old to legally adopt in Alabama).  During that game, I picked up a fumble and returned it for 90 yards. It was a school record that lasted for 22 years." 
 

Sujan Ganesh Kumar (4th Year IE Student) | President of the Georgia Tech Chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers
Sujan Ganesh Kumar is a fourth-year industrial engineering student at Georgia Tech and currently serves as the President of the Georgia Tech Chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. He has a background in data analytics and engineering, having utilized these skills during internships in the fields of finance and healthcare. His focus is on the intersection of operations research and healthcare and plans to pursue a Master of Science in Operations Research after graduation.  

What excites you most about serving on the Advisory Board? “I'm excited to join the advisory board because I believe it will give me a new perspective on the ISyE program and how I can influence that. I'm also excited to connect with fellow board members and learn from their professional experiences.”
