Webinar: NCSU Applied Research Technical Assistance Network for Resilient Communities

Dr. Gavin Smith, Professor of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at North Carolina State University, will talk about a collaborative initiative that he is leading to support communities in becoming more resilient. The applied research network aims to bring together university faculty and staff from across the country to enhance the capacity of local governments, tribes, and nonprofits to secure funding, implement effective mitigation projects, and build long-term resilience. In conclusion, Dr. Smith will share next steps for faculty, staff, and community partners to get involved.
