WST Lrn C dinner with Dr. Sarah Goodman, Material Sciences and Engineering

Dr. Sarah Goodman, lecturer in Material Sciences, and Engineering will speak with us on March 10, 2025, about her career and her current work at Georgia Tech and will demonstrate a laser activity.

Dr. Sarah Goodman (she/they) just moved from New Jersey to Atlanta to join the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Georgia Tech as a lecturer in January 2025. Prior to coming to GT, Sarah was teaching MSE at Stevens Institute of Technology. Sarah received their BA in Chemistry from Rutgers University in 2014, and their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT in 2020. Sarah loves teaching at all levels - she has experience in K-12 curriculum development and has previously taught 4th grade science and high school physics. Outside of teaching, Sarah writes and performs poetry, sews, and sings.
