FMCW lidars are noted for their reduced susceptibility to mutual interference, which is especially relevant for crowded environments where reliability is critical for safety. This work explores conditions under which FMCW lidar systems experience mutual interference and introduces a MATLAB-based simulator to model and investigate different direct and indirect interference scenarios.
