Speakers

• Isabella Canales Claudio is a climate change and sustainability consultant at Ernst & Young. Claudio graduated from the University of Georgia with an M.S. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics with a heavy emphasis on environmental resource management. Prior to that, she earned her B.S. in Environmental Economics and Management with a minor in Political Science and a Certificate in Sustainability at the University of Georgia. 
• Jerry D. Parrish is the chief economist at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Parrish was previously the director of state and local policy analysis at the Florida Institute of Government at Florida State University. He has many years of leadership experience in both public and private sectors. He earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Economics from Auburn University, an MBA from Bellarmine University, an M.S. in Economics from UNC at Charlotte, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Auburn University.
• Michael Sparks is a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He received Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
• Philip Vinson is an assistant professor of economics at Georgia Gwinnett College. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University with a specialization in computational macroeconomics. He conducts research in the areas of macroeconomics, housing, and education.
