Supercomputing @ GT Grad Student Talk
Primary tabs
Join us for the inaugural session of our biweekly "Space, Time & Scale" symposium, designed to showcase the cutting-edge research of PhD students in high-performance computing (HPC). Each session will feature a 20-30 minute talk followed by a roundtable discussion tailored for undergraduate members, especially those new to HPC, to help break down key concepts and answer questions.
Our first speaker is Benjamin Cobb, a PhD student from the School of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), under the guidance of Dr. Haesun Park and Dr. Richard Vuduc. Benjamin will present his talk titled “Distributed-Memory Parallel JointNMF,” which discusses advanced matrix factorization techniques optimized for supercomputers.
