Off the Page: A Poetry Performance Workshop led by Sam Sax

What language requires speech? What can we learn from thinking through the poem as a performance score or sheet music? In this generative workshop we'll explore what's possible in the performed poem that isn't on the page, we'll take a look at some recordings of performed poems, do some of our own writing, and go through some exercises aimed at making us better performers of our own work.
