The Center for Student Engagement is committed to celebrating the contribution of Registered Student Organization members and leaders. Student Organizations make up an incredible part of the fabric of the Yellow Jacket community and without dedicated students our campus would lack these spaces of community, innovation, and comradery. The Celebrating Student Leadership intends to highlight and tell the story of individual students who are committed to the mission of their organization and exemplifies the spirit of Progress and Service. Students will be chosen by nomination and application. The submissions will be reviewed by a panel of faculty, staff and students using a three-pronged rubric: impact of campus engagement, commitment to the mission of their respective organization, and commitment to their peers.  

Nomination Process:  

Each nomination will include two portions that may be submitted in any order: 1) a Faculty/Staff nomination and 2) a student application.  

1. Faculty/Staff Nomination: Faculty and Staff can nominate a student using the nomination form. The student will receive an email saying they have been nominated with directions to complete the application. 

2. Student Application: Students can complete the application and then request a nomination.  

Applications/Nominations open November 27, 2023 and close January 29, 2024.
