The objective of the proposed research is to develop large-scale data analytics to understand the differential impact of power outages on communities. As the climate is changing over the past decades, natural hazards pose an escalating challenge to the resilience of the energy infrastructure. The weather caused power outages causes significant monetary loss and jeopardizes the social well-beings. However, little is known about the societal aspects of the impact. In the proposed work, we develop large-scale data analysis to identify differential impact to communities. We collect data and develop statistical models to learn from data. With the proposed research, we hope to enhance the current pipeline of outage recovery and to achieve a better energy service to all the communities.
