Final Flu Shot Clinic for 2023

Primary tabs

Protect the Hive from the flu this season by getting your flu shot. Stamps Health Services is offering its free Fall Flu Clinics for all currently enrolled students in the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building from 3-7 p.m. The final clinic for the fall is Nov. 9.

Influenza (flu) viruses typically spread in fall and winter, with activity peaking between December and February. Getting vaccinated now can lower your chances of getting the flu. Every flu season is different, and the substantial health impacts can vary widely from season to season, with some flu seasons being worse than others. Your best defense is vaccination, which provides protection from flu and its potential complications.

Faculty and staff can also get their vaccine at Stamps Health Services through the pharmacy.  The pharmacy accepts most prescription insurance plans. Faculty and staff can schedule an appointment by calling the pharmacy at 404-894-1430 ext. 5, Mondays through Wednesdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-in patients will take longer during lunch hours 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
