Urban Air Quality in the Age of Climate Change

This symposium is organized by a group of graduate students as part of the Interdisciplinary Health and Environment Leadership (IHE-LeaD) program at Georgia Tech. It will be an interactive event to connect researchers, public leaders, and community advocates who strive to advance urban air quality for improved health.
The symposium will cover the following topics:
- Air Pollution and Human Health
- Urban Air Quality and Climate Change
- Forest Preservation and Urban Green Spaces
- Behavioral Science with Air Quality Knowledge
- Policy-Making For Improving Urban Air Quality
Our event will include keynote speakers, interactive career- and community-building workshops, a panel session, and contributed talks and posters from trainees. The workshop offerings are: Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD); How to Develop Your Science Communication Strategy; and Social Impact of Technology: Mapping and Storytelling.
