Safe Driving Summit

Primary tabs

The Georgia Department of Transportation in partnership with the Lutzie 43 Foundation, is excited to host a Safe Driving Summit at Georgia Institute of Technology on Thursday, April 13th from 11am-noon at the Atlantic Theater at The John Lewis Student Center! The purpose of the Safe Driving Summit is to educate college students on the dangers of distracted, impaired and unsafe driving and provide them with tools to make better decisions behind the wheel and as a pedestrian.

Students will have the opportunity to network with potential employers and attend a keynote presentation from leaders across the safe driving community. Students that attend the Safe Driving Summit will leave with real life examples and stories that they can share with their friends, family and community to ensure roads are safe and become ambassadors for safe driving. Don’t miss out on a welcome from Georgia Tech Head Football Coach, Brent Key! Free Chick-fil-a lunch and the opportunity to network with future employers is provided post-event.
