Jason Borenstein, Ph.D., appointed as Program Director for Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) at the National Science Foundation

The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education is delighted to announce that our esteemed colleague, Jason Borenstein, Ph.D., has been appointed as Program Director for Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) at the National Science Foundation, located in Alexandria, Virginia! This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are so proud of his hard work and dedication. While he is away from Tech as Program Director of NSF ER2, his responsibilities will include coordinating grant reviews, administering grant awards within the program, and communicating with various stakeholders and academic institutions about the ER2 program. His appointment takes effect immediately and will last one year.  

Since 2006, Jason has served as the Director of Graduate Research Ethics Programs and has overseen Tech’s Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program.  In recent years, Jason has served as the Institute's interim Research Integrity Officer. The interim Director of the RCR program at Tech will be named in the coming weeks.
