Campus Emergency Notification System Test

The Office of Emergency Preparedness will be conducting tests of the Georgia Tech Emergency Notification System (GTENS), the Siren Warning System and the Cable TV Alert System on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m.
- GTENS: Depending on your opt in choices to the GTENS system, you will receive an email message, a voice message (30 seconds long, please do not hang up, computer needs that time to determine a live delivery or to voice mail) and a text message.
- Siren Warning System: All seven speaker locations will be tested one at a time, then each speaker location will have a live voice test. Then all seven speaker locations will be tested at the same time, playing a test message at least twice or more times to ensure the system is operational.
- Cable TV Alert System: Will show a test message on-screen for 30 seconds.
