Protect your Research with ORCiD

Primary tabs

Beginning in 2023, researchers applying for many sources of federal funding will be required to have a digital persistent identifier.

Fortunately, there is an easy way to meet this requirement: creating an Open Researcher and Contributor iD (ORCiD iD).

ORCiD also addresses more specific research activity disclosure requirements. Your ORCiD belongs to you, not your institution, meaning you have full control over what data is associated with it. It takes less than a minute to register with ORCiD and connect your registration to Georgia Tech.
