Michèle Flournoy, distinguished professor of the practice, and Lawrence Rubin, associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, participated in a discussion on the Ukraine war on Oct. 6 co-sponsored by the Nunn School and the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
Rubin chaired the event, “Ukraine: Back to the Future (of Warfare)?”, at which Flournoy was a speaker.
Sen. Sam Nunn, distinguished professor of the practice, closed out the event with a question to the panelists, who included Major Gen. Borys Kremenetskyi, defense attaché at Ukraine’s embassy in Washington, and IISS Senior Fellow Franz-Stefan Gady.
