"Journeys Through the Trenches"

Thinking about spinning your technology out of the lab? First-time academic entrepreneurs can be daunted by the dual pressures of starting a company while maintaining their research and teaching responsibilities – but you’re not alone!

Join us for a panel discussion with Emory University and Georgia Tech faculty and alumni entrepreneurs sharing their commercialization journey. Learn about their experiences and how they overcame barriers to bring their innovations out of academia and into the marketplace. We will also reserve time for networking with our panelists after the discussion.

Panelists:
Mason A. Chilmonczyk, Ph.D. - CEO, Andson Biotech
Tommy Cunningham - Co-founder, Arthroba, Inc.
Aaron Enten, PhD MBA - CEO, Insight Optics
Wilbur A. Lam, MD, Ph.D. - Chief Medical Officer, Sanguina, Inc.
Brennan Torstrick, Ph.D. - Co-founder, Huxley Medical, Inc.

This event is the 2nd session in the 2022-2023 Bench2Market Talks series, which was created to provide commercialization guidance to the university research community.
