The AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT) focuses on bringing together the fields of artificial intelligence and mathematical optimization to achieve research breakthroughs in automated decision making that could not be obtained separately. AI4OPT is one of the first of the 18 AI Research Institutes funded and supported by the National Science Foundation.
