Navigating Innovation Policy Interactions between the US and Small Island States
Primary tabs
In this informal conversation, Dr. Zak Taylor (Associate Professor, School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology) and Dr. Ubaldo M. Córdova-Figueroa (Professor of Chemical Engineering, Uni. of Puerto Rico) will help us explore how innovation policies within US territories and small island states are crafted and how the influence of the US federal government effects this decision making, all from an academic perspective. Subtopics we will be exploring include disaster management and preparedness, climate change, digitalization, and research funding.
