Plexi Shield Recycling Collection

The Office of Solid Waste and Recycling (OSW&R) is offering another round of plexi-shield recycling during the week of August 15 - 22. Below are the steps to follow:
- Turn in unwanted shields to your Building Manager
- Building Managers will reach out to their respective Areas to inform them of quantity/pickup location
- OSWM&R will centralize shields, disassemble, and sort materials
- Materials will be taken to a specialty recycling vendor
This will be the final opportunity to recycle any shields you may have. Both acrylic-only and PVC mixed shields are accepted. Should you have any questions, reach out to recycle@gatech.edu
