Brock Participates in Panel on the Digital Divide

André Brock, associate professor of media studies in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, participated in a panel titled “Digital Divide, Culture & Intersectionality” on June 30, 2022. The panel focused on social groups and the different uses of technology, on the sociological aspects of internet access and use, and on the roles – both positive and negative – that societal structures and culture can play in shaping these experiences and their outcomes. 

The Yale Information Society Project and Digital Interest Lab at New York University hosted the panel as part of the Governing Conversations series.
