Brown Bag Lunch: Natural Hair — The Ins and Outs

Primary tabs

The topic of this brown bag is "natural hair," which is a term used in the African American community to describe the way a person wears and grooms his/her hair without chemical treatments like perms or relaxers.

Nicole Brown, an administrative professional from the Office of the Vice President for Institute Diversity, will lead a panel that includes Dean Stephanie Ray, Carol Gibson and Nicole Leonard, who each wear their hair in its natural state. At the end of the session, there will be time for a brief Q&A from the audience.

Anyone interested in the topic is welcome to attend, and light refreshments will be served.

To RSVP, send an email to Nicole Brown
