Get to Know Georgia Tech Pediatric Technologies!

Primary tabs

Effective research in pediatric technologies is borne out of interdisciplinary collaboration. Georgia Tech has played a role in the development and commercialization of lifesaving pediatric technology advances through the Institute’s leadership in robotics, computing, sensing, manufacturing, nanoparticles, and mobile technologies, among other areas. We hope to introduce these topics to a new and broad audience at GT.

This online event is presented by the Office of the Vice President for Interdisciplinary Research.

Georgia Tech Pediatric Technologies Center brings clinical experts together with Georgia Tech scientists and engineers to develop technological solutions to problems in the health and care of children. GTPT Center provides extraordinary opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration in pediatrics, creating breakthrough discoveries that often can only be found at the intersection of multiple disciplines. These collaborations also allow us to bring discoveries to the clinic and the bedside, thereby enhancing the lives of children and young adults.

Please join M.G. Finn, James A. Carlos Family Chair for Pediatric Technology, and Leanne West, Chief Engineer, Pediatric Technologies for an information session as they share opportunities on campus to collaborate in pediatric research. Julia Kubanek, Vice President for Interdisciplinary Research, will provide brief opening remarks. Drs. Finn and West will then give a short presentation followed by plenty of time for Q&A/discussion.
