event
7th Annual International Conference on Biomechanics in Vascular Biology & Cardiovascular Disease
Primary tabs
Biomechanical factors play a key role in the cardiovascular system during vascular growth, vascular remodeling and in vascular disease progression. Developments in vascular imaging combined with advances in computational techniques enable identification of biomechanical parameters that play a role in the pathophysiology of atherosclerosis. Advances in molecular techniques provide knowledge linking biomechanics and vascular biology, and open new avenues for therapeutic interventions.
Abstract submission deadline February 10, 2012
For complete conference information, including registration and abstract submission, visit the 2012 Biomechanics Conference.
The conference is sponsored by Emory University, the Parker H. Petit Insitute for Bioengineering and Bioscience and the Atlanta Clinical Translational Institute.
