Finding a successful path toward tenure and promotion to associate professor can be a daunting task, and so this workshop will address a number of the most common questions many early career faculty try to answer: How can I be strategic about service? Is there a writing routine that might be for me? Which kinds of publications matter at this stage? How should I deal with 'bad' teaching evaluations? How do I advocate for myself as an early career scholar? Tune to hear Dr. Manya Whitaker's thoughts on tenure and promotion. Whitaker is the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Colorado College and Associate Professor of Education.
