The application to live on campus for the 2022-23 academic year opens this month. It will open in phases this year based on a student's status. Students will receive an email in the days leading up to the opening of their particular phase with important details about the application – we encourage you to ask your student to read their email and discuss your student’s housing options with them: 

• If they choose to live on-campus, encourage them to apply early within their phase as spaces may be limited as more phases begin. 
• If your student is unsure about where they want to live next year, they can consult the courtesy listing of nearby apartments linked in our Applicant FAQs to explore alternatives. 

You and your student may also benefit from reviewing our online application guide, which walks you through each step of the application, with notes about particular action you should take as part of those steps. We encourage students to look over the guide before getting into the application in the portal, particularly if it is their first time filling it out.
