You are invited to a networking event for Georgia Tech students hosted by The Home Depot and the Center for Student Engagement, this event will feature Ted Decker, the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Home Depot and additional senior leaders of the Home Depot.  

 Because of the nature of the event and limited capacity (100 students) we ask that you only RSVP If you are committed to attendance of the full event on Thursday, February 10, 5:30-8:00pm. Because we are expecting a waitlist you will be asked to confirm your attendance the week of the event.

What can I expect during the event?  

The event will be hosted in three parts.  At 5:30pm students will be welcomed by Home Depot COO and several other members of Home Depot’s senior leadership for a networking reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres. At 6:30 students will be invited into a facilitated conversation with Ted. The conversation will conclude with a dessert reception to allow for continued networking and conversation. Student leaders are asked to commit to the duration of this business casual event. Capacity is limited to 100 Georgia Tech students. A waitlist will be in place as RSVP capacity is reached.

Big or small, every organization faces challenges unique to their time. Join Ted Decker, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Home Depot, as he discusses leadership in times of adversity. We'll discuss questions such as: How can my organization articulate challenges? What is the role of a team during times of adversity? And What is the role of a leader during a crisis?
