The Topic:
For the past two decades, we have lived in the era of triumphal globalization. But the conjuncture of the gigantic financial crisis and a severe recession has shaken up the world order. What we have experienced is definitely behind us, but what does the future world hold in store?

The Speaker:
Jacques Mistral is Professor of economics and research director at the French Institute for International Relations (IFRI) ; he is also a member of the Economic Analysis Council in the Prime Minister’s office, the Board of Directors of the Center for Prospective Studies and International Information (CEPII), and two French think tanks: the Circle of Economists and the Foundation for Political Innovation.
