Charles L. Liotta, Regents Professor Emeritus in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, joins The Dow Chemical Company's Bharat I. Chaudhary and Jeffrey M. Cogen as team recipient of the 2022 PMSE Cooperative Research Award in Polymer Science and Engineering. PMSE is the American Chemistry Society's Division of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering. Liotta has served for 57 years as a professor at Georgia Tech, and his work with Chaudhary and Cogen “represents a successful collaboration between academia and industry for approximately 14 years and is still ongoing” in a wider range of polymeric materials research.
