Conducting Research with Restricted Data in the Atlanta Federal Statistical Research Data Center

Primary tabs

Melissa Ruby Banzhaf will provide an overview of the Atlanta Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC), one of 30 FSRDCs across the country. The Atlanta FSRDC provides access to numerous internal versions of  government-sponsored datasets, including datasets from the Census Bureau, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) among others. Banzhaf will explain the many advantages of using restricted data, the process for developing a successful proposal to use the data, and the logistics of conducting research in the Atlanta FSRDC. For more information, please contact melissa.r.banzhaf@census.gov or visit the FSRDC website: https://www.census.gov/fsrdc.
