United Nations Association of Atlanta Dedicates #UN76 Day to Drawdown Georgia
The United Nations (UN) Association of Atlanta is dedicating their celebration of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations to Drawdown Georgia and the Ray C. Anderson Foundation. The theme of this year’s event is “Creating a Blueprint for a Better Future.”
Drawdown Georgia’s mission is to achieve net zero carbon emissions in the state by 2050. Faculty from the School of Public Policy were integral to its founding, and many of them continue to do research for the project alongside School of Public Policy students.
UN Day will be held virtually on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 4:15 p.m.
