This initiative for faculty and staff integrates experiential learning activities with targeted readings and follow-up reflection as a means to acquaint and educate participants about Asian culture, with the following objectives: (1) understanding and engaging with GSU’s significant Asian and Asian American student population; (2) recognizing the cultural and economic impact on the region and state from Asia and Asian American communities; (3) for faculty, integrating Asian content and issues into courses taught, if appropriate. In addition to Perimeter College, faculty and staff from the Atlanta Campus are encouraged to participate.
