Y Combinator @ Georgia Tech

Primary tabs

Join us Wednesday, September 22nd in virtually welcoming Y Combinator (YC) as they come to Georgia Tech!

YC is the premier global startup fund/accelerator. Twice a year YC invests a small amount of money in a large number of startups. The startups move to Silicon Valley for 3 months, and the YC partners work closely with each company to get them into the best possible shape and refine their pitch to investors. Each batch culminates in Demo Day, when the startups present their companies to a carefully selected audience of investors. Y Combinator has invested in over 2,500 companies including Stripe, Airbnb, Instacart, Dropbox, Reddit, Coinbase and Ginkgo Bioworks. The combined valuation of YC companies is over $150B.

We will have YC Partner, Tim Brady, and Beanstalk founder Michael Ross cover some of the myths that exist around starting startups and how YC can help you get started. The last segment of our event will have a Q&A session for you to ask your most pressing startup questions.

We hope to see you there for what should be an enriching experience!
