Secure and reliable networks and information systems are essential for daily communications and transactions. Vulnerabilities can lead to critical disruptions in telecommunications, data storage, and other critical infrastructure such as utilities and power grids. Scientists within the Georgia Tech Research Institute and the Institute for Data and High Performance Computing are recognized leaders in cyber security and innovation. From developing systems to dismantle bot nets and malicious code to enhancing security for mobile devices and designing systems for secure information sharing, GTRI is addressing data security, functionality and efficiency needs.​
