Utz Appointed to Advisory Board for International Book Series

Primary tabs

Richard Utz, professor and chair in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, has been named to the advisory board of a new international book series, Reinterpreting the Middle Ages: From Medieval to Neo, published by Brepols Publishers in Belgium.

Utz is an expert on medieval culture and medievalism and has authored and edited more than 21 book-length publications on the topics.

The new book series, according to Utz, is intended to be an innovative and radical forum for the investigation of the continuing impact of medieval culture and ideas about medieval culture.

Other advisory board members include colleagues from Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester, Paris, York, and MIT. The editorial board members were selected to lend the weight and impact of their names and research history to the publication.

In his role on the board, Utz will comment, evaluate, and make recommendations for the final acceptance of book proposals and manuscripts.
