Ideas to Serve Awards Ceremony

Primary tabs

Join the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact in a celebration of our students and community partners who work on pressing social and environmental issues in our communities. (Please note that this year, due to COVID safety measures, this event is by invitation only).

This year many of the I2S teams worked closely with amazing community partners - nonprofits and civic leaders - to support their problem discovery and solutions mapping process.

A big thanks to our partners:  Carrie’s ClosetGrove Park Neighborhood Association, Life SchoolLISCUbuntu Community Catalyst, Wundergrubs, and Housing Tonight.

Check out what social and environmental issues they are working on - read project summaries on the I2S Teams page and watch their short videos.

Congratulations to the Winners!

See what is new this year for I2S in our latest blog post.

The Ideas to Serve Competition would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors. Thank you to The Cecil B. Day Program for Business Ethics, the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain, the Steven A. Denning Technology & Management Program, Tedd Munchak Chair in Entrepreneurship, Center for International Business Education and Research, Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, LEAD Program, Innovation and Design Collaborative, Mosley Ventures, and Speechworks.

Participation in the Ideas to Serve Competition fulfills the Final Deliverable requirement for the SLS Innovating for Social Impact Program – a collaboration between the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact and the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain.
