Full Summary: Join the African American Student Union for a multi-day conference.

Since 2004, the Black Leadership Conference has been the African American Student Union’s premier leadership event created for and by Black students, providing hundreds of young Black leaders a forum where they can hone their leadership skills to become changemakers on campus and in their communities. In the past, our conferences have featured renowned keynote speakers, workshops for achieving success in academia and industry, and equipped students with the tools and networking opportunities needed to foster their personal and professional growth.

This year's conference theme is “Black Brilliance: Passion. Purpose. Intentionality.” The conference vision is, "To empower young Black leaders to use their talents, gifts, and brilliance to uplift the Black community and advance the cause of justice in their personal and professional lives.”

We are excited to have speakers like Nsé Ufot, Chief Executive Officer of the New Georgia Project, Andre Dickens, City of Atlanta council member, Dr. Kay Husbands Fealing, Dean of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, Jeanne Kerney, President of the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization, Joy Stephens, Corporate Culture Consultant, and many others! The conference will feature workshops on political activism, financial literacy, health and wellbeing during Covid-19, and resources and support for pursuing graduate degrees and careers.

We are excited to be partnering with the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization, Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers, and Georgia Tech Office of Minority Educational Development on this year's conference.

We hope you will join us on Friday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, for this exciting, entirely virtual conference!
