Baha'i Club Activity Night

Primary tabs

The Georgia Tech Baha'i Club is a gathering place for curious minds who enjoy exploring life's deep questions. On a typical night, we might watch a film, read a story or research paper, play games, or learn about a interesting topic together. Conversations can often range from societal development, spirituality, and art, to philosophy of science, history, and education - to note but a few. We aim to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where diverging viewpoints are treated as building blocks in the group's collective understanding a topic. Students of all cultural and religious backgrounds are most welcome.

Sound interesting? Then drop by our weekly activity nights on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET. Activities are planned by a different club member each week.

Never heard of the Baha'i Faith?

Here's a 2 min intro (video)

The Baha'i Faith, the world's newest global belief system, teaches the oneness of God, the oneness of humanity, and the oneness of religion. Baha'i teachings include the independent investigation of truth, equality of men and women, elimination of all forms of prejudice, universal education, and the harmony of science and religion. Baha'is believe that the human spirit is inherently noble, and that there is a two-fold purpose to human life: improving oneself through the development of spiritual qualities, and improving the condition of the world through service.

The Georgia Tech Baha'i club serves as a hub for Baha'i life at Georgia Tech: creating spaces for spiritual development, connecting students to the wider Atlanta Baha'i community, building ties with other religious and non-religious organizations on campus, and organizing service activities. Membership is open to students of any religious or non-religious background.
