The School of Economics co-hosts the Sardinian Empirical Trade Conference

Primary tabs

On Friday, September 4, the School of Economics will co-host and co-sponsor the 4th annual Sardinian Empirical Trade Conference.

The conference will now take place virtually, rather than on the campus of the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will feature presentations by leading trade economists, Paola Conconi (Université Libre de Buxelles), Pol Antràs (Harvard University), and Andrei Levchenko (University of Michigan).

This conference is part of the umbrella of conferences on empirical international trade organized annually by the Forum for Research in Empirical International Trade, which is directed by School of Economics faculty member, Professor Tibor Besedeš.

The conference will take place on a new platform for virtual conferences, Gather.
