Hello to all Georgia Tech students and families! We are excited for Fall 2020 here at Georgia Tech.The Center for Assessment, Referral and Education (CARE) continues to be committed to the health, well-being and personal safety of our campus community.Taking into consideration the easy transmission of COVID-19 and desire to keep our GT Community healthy and safe, we have made some modifications to CARE operations.

      Beginning this fall, we are transitioning from a walk-in and in person clinic only, to an appointment-only model. To make an appointment with CARE, please contact us at (404) 894-3498. Student assessments are being provided in a virtual telebehavioral health format, utilizing Blue Jeans videoconferencing. Licensed clinical staff members will also continue to provide case management and referrals for appropriate services and supports. Our office hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Tuesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Due to changes in our procedures, our office will close at lunch for an hour every day from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Students needing to speak with someone immediately during lunch hours or after business hours can reach a counselor at any time via phone by calling (404) 894-3498 and selecting option 1 to speak with the after-hours counselor.

     The Center for Assessment, Referral, and Education invites graduate and undergraduate students to apply to our new CARE Student Ambassador Program. The Student Ambassador program is a great opportunity for students who are passionate about mental health and looking to build leadership skills. By participating in the program, you will get the chance to learn more about resources on and off campus and build community partnerships.
