Georgia Tech Lorraine: Rounding Out Your Resume

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech-Lorraine (GTL), Tech’s campus in Metz, France, for the last 30 years, offers students the opportunity to elevate their resume through an international experience. Tech encourages students to spend time abroad in order to become a more well-rounded student and true world-citizen.

Students spend Fall, Spring, or Summer semester taking courses at Georgia Tech-Lorraine, staying on track toward their degree while learning about different cultures and expanding their worldview. Study abroad experience stands out on a resume and is a great talking point for potential employers, as it shows that the student is willing to step out of their comfort zone, can adapt to a new environment, and has a broader perspective of the world.

The Metz campus is open to students of all majors and no French language skills are required. Courses are taught in English by Tech faculty and all credits transfer back seamlessly. Check the full course lists for upcoming semesters at GTL here. Or, if your student is working toward their master’s degree, learn more about Georgia Tech-Lorraine graduate programs here

While we are living with lots of uncertainty due to the coronavirus, Georgia Tech-Lorraine is planning on welcoming students back to our campus this fall. Social distancing measures are already in place, and borders in Europe are opening. Students who are itching for a semester abroad can sign up now  for the Spring 2021 semester.
