Patent Overview

Patents are a vital source of information on new innovations and emerging technologies. This free workshop will cover the basics of patent documentation, classification, and public web-based search tools. Participants will learn how patent data and databases are organized and also learn how to: 1) identify and interpret the component parts of a patent; and 2) conduct a basic patent search.
