Changes are coming to FASET and WRECK Camp

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech is gearing up to welcome new undergraduate students (first-year, exchange, and transfers) during this summer’s FASET orientation. New Student and Transition Programs (NSTP) has worked to restructure FASET by creating a new one-day experience for all incoming students. Due to the Campus Center construction project, space on campus is limited for FASET sessions. NSTP and campus partners are working together to make this new one-day orientation as seamless and informative as possible for all attendees.

Much like the previous FASET itinerary, students and their families will be welcomed during the first session at 9 a.m. before heading to several breakout sessions. Throughout the day, those in attendance will have the opportunity to meet with FASET leaders, become acquainted with campus resources, and speak with advisors regarding registration. Due to space limitations, students will be allowed only one guest.

In addition to the changes coming to FASET, students can also expect a different experience at WRECK Camp. The weeklong camp is now offered on three different occasions: All Summer iGnite students are invited to attend WRECK Camp Ignite on campus, June 12-14. All incoming students are invited to attend WRECK Camp Odyssey at Twin Lakes in Winder, Georgia, July 5-8. And all first-year students are invited to attend Wreck Camp ATL on campus, July 10-12.

Registration for FASET and WRECK Camp will open in mid-February. For more information about the FASET schedule, costs, and more, visit https://transitionprograms.gatech.edu/content/faset-orientation. NSTP and the Georgia Tech community look forward to welcoming our new Yellow Jackets!
