GT Robojackets FIRST Kickoff

For the third year, the RoboJackets will be hosting the 2011 Regional FRC Kickoff on Jan. 8 at the Ferst Center. The event will consist of guest speakers, live broadcasting, robot demos and workshops and will begin at 8:30 a.m. Teams are encouraged to register on the FIRST website and also with the RoboJackets for workshops.

Event Timeline

  • 8:30 a.m. — Event opens to teams
  • 9:30 a.m. — Welcome talks
  • 10:00 a.m. — Kickoff broadcast
  • 11:00 a.m. — Field viewing and KOP handout
  • Noon — Loading dock closes
  • 1:00 p.m. — Workshops begin
  • 6:00 p.m. — Workshops end
